9:00am-10:00- Reflection on Vtape screening. Review of video art genres.
Strategies for screening video art to students.

10:00-11:00 – Concept Development: media artists’ strategies, video project’s common stages and steps, montage vs. staged, concept development exercise ideas (thought map, aesthetics assignment, 1 min autobiography etc).

11:00am -12:00pm – Pre Production: location, storyboarding, scripts, general planning, tapes and timecode etc.

12:00pm – 1:00pm – lunch

1:00pm-2:00pm – Production: basic camera workshop with Greg: basic lighting and camera angles.

2:00pm-3:00pm – technology and theory discussion (Tom Sherman article, Dot Tuer article, various texts)

3:00pm-3:30pm – wrap up, planning for DAY #3.
